Second National Session of EYP Bulgaria Plovdiv 2024

The Second National Session of the European Youth Parliament Bulgaria, Plovdiv 2024, took place from the 31st of March to the 4th of April 2024. The session brought together more than 150 participants from all over Bulgaria and Europe under the theme “Preserving the past and innovating the future: Honouring our heritage while forging a new path forward.”

The participants of NSC Sofia 2023 were divided into 11 committees addressing different aspects of the theme. During the session, the participants went through the typical EYP structure: Team Building, Committee Work, and General Assembly. During the Team Building activities, the participants had the great chance to visit Hristo Botev Stadium in Plovdiv.

Preserving and making history: bringing young people one step closer to Europe.

The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is an educational organization designed to shape the social, political and cultural knowledge of young people. It aims to provide adolescents with the tools they need to bring about change on a European scale and to promote creative thinking, public speaking and engaged citizenship.

The Second National Selection Conference of EYP Bulgaria was held in person between March 31st and April 4th, 2024, in the city of Plovdiv under the theme:

"Preserving the past, building the future: honouring our heritage, forging a new way forward"

The conference was attended by 11 committees of delegates, each focusing on a particular theme and issues facing the European Union. Committee chairs and mentors provided advice to participants, who developed resolutions, engaged in lively debates, and worked with like-minded peers.

The Second National Selection Conference was an experience that fosters intellectual growth, cross-cultural interaction and the creation of lasting relationships with young people in Bulgaria. It was thrilling to welcome our participants to Plovdiv for an enjoyable week of skills enhancement, learning and fun!
