Welcome to EYP BG National Coordination for Schools and Teachers!
Are you an educator seeking to enrich your students' learning journey? The National Coordination Department of the European Youth Parliament Bulgaria offers a unique platform for students to develop critical skills, global awareness, and personal growth, as well as their English language skills. We give you the opportunity to become a part of a wide network of educators committed to shaping active, responsible, and open-minded citizens.
EYP wants to promote non-formal learning in the field of political and citizenship education. During sessions, students communicate exclusively in the official language of the EYP - English and therefore get an opportunity to put their language skills into practice both in academic discussions and social situations. Our work is volunteer-based only, and we are grateful for the continuous trust of a dozen Bulgarian high schools
With your help and involvement, we can offer your school and communities:
Interactive learning outside the classroom;
Exposure to the work of the European Parliament;
Impactful volunteering extracurriculars for students;
Networking experience for teachers and students;
Recognition for the school’s commitment;
Cultural exchange;
An environment to practice public speaking and debating skills.
As a teacher, your role will be to:
Inform your students about our upcoming sessions;
Have a group call with our National Coordinators in order to discuss the details around your students participation in our event and ask questions, if any occur;
Spread the word about our sessions among other teachers and schools.
